Greetings from MGF in the northeast of Scotland.

No message this week folks as we had a blessed time of worship, testimony and ministry. Hallelujah!

But you can listen to a greeting from Mr. Dave.

God is not the author of temptation.

This week, Nunsy brings a separate message to Pastor Vic's current series..

In James 1 we read, 'Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.'

Now, despite these verses, a doctrine has grown, amongst Christians, that teaches that God will teach us, and strengthen our faith, by putting illness on us or by leading us into difficult situations!

Nunsy brings 5 reasons why God does not tempt us and reminds us that the way we think affects our relationship with God.

How does your doctrine fit in with the finished work of Jesus on the cross?

New Beginnings. #2 - Saul to Paul.

Probably the most dramatic example of a renewed mind, and a changed heart, was Saul becoming Paul!

Pastor Vic encourages us with the understanding that if Saul, after his personnel encounter with the Lord Jesus, could change, then how much more can we change now that we have Paul's experience, recorded in Paul's Epistles, to exhort, edify and encourage us.

Saul's experience, with the help of the Holy Spirit, is the classic example of mind renewal which affected the rest of his life as Paul!

New Beginnings #1 - Apollos.

At this time of a new year many people resolve to change certain aspects of their life. They make what is commonly known as, 'New Year Resolutions.'

Pastor Vic starts a new series, with this message, about new beginnings and shows us, through the example of Apollos, that we need to be teachable, just like Apollos, so that we can change from within.

Apollos is an excellent example of what happens when your mind is renewed. Through the renewing of his mind, Apollos was changed and then he helped to change the world!
