The Holy Spirit in the New Covenant. #2
Sunday Sep 08, 2013
Sunday Sep 08, 2013
As born again believers, the Word of God tells us that, 'And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.' [Acts 2:4]
In Acts 8:17 we read, 'Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.', and in Acts 19:6 we read, 'And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.'
Are you confused when it comes to how the Holy Spirit is referred to in the Word? Have you ever considered the 'terminology' with reference to the Holy Spirit?
Nunsy Cameron gives insight into the work of the Holy Spirit in, and through, born again believers and, once again, we are shown that we have a personal responsibility in our relationship with God, through Jesus!

The Holy Spirit in the New Covenant. #1
Sunday Sep 01, 2013
Sunday Sep 01, 2013
Nunsy Cameron brings this week's message as she starts a new series about the Holy Spirit.
As a born again believer you are filled with the power of the Holy Spirit and you are responsible for how that power manifests.
Hear how all born again believers have been made fit, by Jesus' finished work of the cross, to manifest the power of the Holy Spirit. However, we need to understand that we are living under the New Covenant and it is important not to mix the Old with the New!
We live under grace and not the law!

Paul writes to the Church in Ephesus. #5
Sunday Aug 25, 2013
Sunday Aug 25, 2013
Pastor Vic continues with this series of teaching from Paul's letter to the Ephesians.
Pastor Vic shares, from the Word, the truth about our acceptance and adoption by God through the finished work of Jesus on the cross.
Once again you will hear that it is not your actions that make you holy but your knowledge, and understanding, of the Word will renew your mind to the truth that, as a born again believer, you are already holy and righteous and this will lead you to be holy in your actions! As soon as you become a born again believer, God sees you holy and righteous straight away! Because of the finished work of Jesus on the cross you are a co-heir of Christ and your inheritance is available right now, right here!
NB: In this message Pastor Vic makes some statements which, if taken out of context and you do not listen to the whole message, will offend. Be blessed by listening to the whole message.

Paul writes to the Church in Ephesus. #4
Sunday Aug 18, 2013
Sunday Aug 18, 2013
If you are a born again believer, do you believe that, by the gift of grace, you are a saint and holy?
As born again believers we need to have a true understanding and revelation to renew our minds to the truth that we are holy and a saint.
The way we think dictates the way we act; change the way we think and we change the way we act. As born again believers we do not do holy actions to become holy; once you know you are holy you will start to act holy!
When we know, and understand, what we have in Christ, we then start to realise and understand that God sees us, spirit to spirit, blameless and unblemished! Hallelujah!

Paul writes to the Church in Ephesus. #3
Sunday Aug 11, 2013
Sunday Aug 11, 2013
Many born again believers exclude themselves from God's blessings. We need to understand and believe the Word of God when it tells us, in Ephesians 1:3, that we have been blessed, "with all spiritual blessings" right here and now!
Yes, the verse does seem to go on to indicate that those blessings are only for us when we get to heaven.
However, listen to Pastor Vic as he relates this verse to other verses of the Word which show that God's blessings are for all born again believers right here, right now, for this earthly life! This life is not about just accepting 'whatever' when you are on this earth! Our identity is in Christ!
In our Spirit we already have, "all spiritual blessings."

Paul writes to the Church in Ephesus. #2
Sunday Aug 04, 2013
Sunday Aug 04, 2013
Pastor Vic continues to share from Paul's letter to the Ephesians and challenges some doctrinal beliefs about the sovereignty of God and wether God's Will always comes about.
We are reminded in this message that we have been given free will to make decisions in our lives. So, is God in complete control? Does He bring pain and havoc into our lives to 'have His own way?' Are we acting out some kind of 'big plan' in a totally pre-ordained world?
This message comes with a 'be prepared to be offended' warning.

Sunday Jul 28, 2013
Pastor Vic starts a new series with this message. However, your heart will still be softened to the things of God as your mind continues to be renewed by the Word.
Pastor Vic shares with us about how the 'Letter to the Ephesians' is clearly in two parts; chapters 1 - 3 is all about the grace of God; chapters 4 - 6 is all about what should happen as our knowledge and understanding grows about God's grace; good works flow from knowledge and understanding of that grace.
Ephesians tells us who we are, and what we have, through the finished work of Jesus on the cross.

How to soften your heart. #10
Sunday Jul 21, 2013
Sunday Jul 21, 2013
Pastor Vic continues with this series and challenges us again about being, 'in the Word'.
He reveals, from the Word, that if we are being conformed to this world then our hearts are being hardened. However, the Word also reveals that, if our minds are being renewed by the Word, then our hearts will be softened. Romans 12:1-2.
There is no middle ground with this; we need to know, and understand, the things of God, through the finished work of the cross, so that we can fulfill the plan and purpose that God has for our lives.
It is our choice!
