Tuesday Feb 12, 2019
Tuesday Feb 12, 2019
Do you know that you cannot use external circumstances as an excuse for the level of peace that you live in?
Isa. 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
We choose what we think on; we choose what we focus on.
Pastor Vic exhorts the listener to choose to trust the Lord and focus on Him!

Change yourself first!
Tuesday Jan 29, 2019
Tuesday Jan 29, 2019
Do you have a sandpaper person in your life? That person who constantly rubs you up the wrong way; constantly irritating you with their actions or words!
In this message, Pastor Vic reminds us about our responsibility towards that person. We cannot force that person to change in the way that we would like; we cannot force them to change!
We need to encourage them and not complain about their behaviour. We need to consider our own behaviour and be a positive influence!

Monday Jan 21, 2019
Jesus took time out to pray, rest and sleep, even when He was needed to minister.
In Acts 20 v 28, Paul exhorts the elders of the Church in Ephesus to look after themselves; to have regard for themselves.
With this message, Pastor Vic exhorts, and encourages, the listener to do likewise, both physically and spiritually.

Do you know that the Lord is interested in you? Do you know that you can encourage yourself in the Lord?
Using the example of David, Pastor Vic encourages the listener to recognise the better relationship that they have with the Lord.

Why did Jesus have to come to earth as a man? Why did He come in the 'flesh'?
Pastor Vic continues to use the nativity account to encourage and exhort the listener to read the Bible and to not be spoilt by 'the tradition of men.'
Many traditions have been created about the birth of Jesus but you need to read the nativity account for yourself to find out the truth of His birth!

Read the Bible! #2
Monday Dec 17, 2018
Monday Dec 17, 2018
Pastor Vic continues to exhort the believer to read the Bible for themself and not get sidetracked by the tradition of men.
MGF did a short presentation of the nativity and you can watch the video at: https://vimeo.com/306768882
Now, it may not be the best nativity you have ever seen! However, as you will hear from Pastor Vic, the tradition of men has distracted Christians from the Biblical truth of the birth of Jesus and just how important the role of the shepherds actually was!
Be blessed and be a blessing!

Read the Bible! #1
Monday Dec 10, 2018
Monday Dec 10, 2018
This week we take a break from the current series.
Using the account of the birth of Jesus, Pastor Vic exhorts listeners to read the Bible for themselves so that they are not deceived ‘through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.’ Colossians 2 v 8. KJV.
The tradition of men has distracted many Christian believers from the truth of God’s Word.
You need to read the Bible yourself so that you live by the Word and not by the tradition of men!
