Pastor Paul Loh begins our weekend of teaching on the subject of, 'Leadership.'

God has a plan & purpose for you. #3

Last week's message looked at the first part of God's corporate plan and purpose for every born again believer to be salt and light to the world.

In this week's message Pastor Vic considers another element of God's corporate plan and purpose for every born again believer.

Every born again believer has a responsibility to be aware of this role, and carry it out; but not every born again believer will be aware of this role!

We heard last week that every born again believer has an individual purpose and plan for this earthly life.

This week Pastor Vic starts to share what God's corporate plan is for the 'church'.

In Ephesians 4 v 11 we see the word 'some' being used for certain roles in the church but there is also something else that all born again believers are called to be!

Pastor Vic uses the examples of Jeremiah, Isaiah, David and Paul, to show you that God has a plan and a purpose for you.

You are encouraged to seek God for direction and not to just decide to do something and then ask for God's blessing!

Everyone is 'in ministry', whatever that is! However, it is God who has a plan and a purpose for you!

 

Study to shew thyself approved unto God. #2

With this message, Pastor Vic continues to challenge the listener to study God's Word so that they can be successful for God.

If you want guidance from God then you need knowledge and understanding of God's Word because that is how He speaks to you!

Yes, you may well hear God speaking to you but does what you hear agree with His Word?

David knew that he was annointed to be king but he also knew that he was to remain faithful until that day arrived.

David had a vision; he thought big; he ignored the naysayers; he worked hard; he applied Biblical principles in his life!

Yes, he did stupid in his life but he was a man after God's own heart!

This week, Pastor Vic encourages you to believe the truth that God has told you through His Word, rather than what comes against you in the physical world!

He exhorts you to not allow physical reality to distort God's Word.

This message also challenges you to speak out life into other peoples' lives as well as your own!
