Communion with the Holy Spirit.
Sunday Nov 26, 2017
Sunday Nov 26, 2017
Following on from last week's message, Nunsy Cameron encourages and exhorts us to partnership with the Holy Spirit; to be in communion with Him.
We are encouraged to listen to, and share, what the Holy Spirit is saying to us.
An important part of being able to commune with the Holy Spirit is recognising that we are part of the church body and as such we need to be in a good relationship with God and each other.
Yes, it can be difficult; but if we are strong in the Word then we can be in communion with the Holy Spirit!

Exercise the Ministry of the Holy Spirit!
Sunday Nov 19, 2017
Sunday Nov 19, 2017
Dave Feldman, our guest speaker, exhorts and encourages us to operate in the power of the Holy Spirit.
He reminds us that we can do this effectively through practice and the renewing of our minds.
During this message you will hear Dave minister to some of the people who were with us today.
NB: Due to time restraints in this coming week, Techy Dave has decided to post this message as soon as possible. So do not be surprised to hear the open fire crackling and a few other things; editing has been minimal!
The time restraints this coming week are because Techy Dave is working on an MGF project which involves a lot of CD production; we will share a bit more about the project a little later in the month.

Affirm constantly the truth of the Word!
Tuesday Nov 14, 2017
Tuesday Nov 14, 2017
Paul's letter to Titus is a letter to a pastor; it is also a letter to all born again believers.
This letter exhorts Titus to teach sound doctrine with all authority and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone.
We see in this letter that the Gospel, the Good News, is that we are made righteous, through faith, as a gift of grace; it is all about what Jesus has done and nothing of what we have done or will do!
You are not righteous by what you do; you are righteous through what you believe!
NB: Techy Dave is aware of a problem with some electronic noise in this recording.

Stop asking for what has already been provided!
Monday Nov 06, 2017
Monday Nov 06, 2017
Using the example of Simeon, Pastor Vic shows us that salavation is not just about our 'ticket' into heaven!
Salvation, ie: the Sozo package; is more than that. We need to realise that all that Jesus died for, on the cross, is available to us, right here; right now!
We need to change the way we think about salvation and take what has been provided without asking for it!

A Journey through Ephesians. #29
Monday Oct 30, 2017
Monday Oct 30, 2017
This message brings to an end our journey through Ephesians.
Pastor Vic continues to remind us that the spiritual battle we face is in our mind; he continues looking at the spiritual armour and instructs us on how we should use this 'armour'.
Please do not be put off by the length of this message. You can take a break after the summary of last week's message and then you can meditate on that before listening to the remainder; it is effectively a continuation of last week's message.
Be blessed and be a blessing! Amen!

A Journey through Ephesians. #28
Monday Oct 23, 2017
Monday Oct 23, 2017
This week, Pastor Vic starts to look at the verses in Ephesians 6 that list the elements of the spiritual armour of God.
You will hear that the spiritual battle is in our mind and that we need to combat the lies of the devil and the world.
The spiritual armour of God is not mystical; it is about knowing and understanding the truths of His Word. If you have revelation knowledge and understanding, of these truths, then you are wearing the spiritual armour of God!
Use it!

A Journey through Ephesians. #27
Monday Oct 16, 2017
Monday Oct 16, 2017
Do you put on the armour of God as in Ephesians 6? Do you need this armour?
What is your understanding of, 'spiritual warfare.'?
With this message, Pastor Vic nears the end of our journey through Ephesians and, amongst other things, declares that, 'the church', can, at times, focus too much on its enemy, the devil.
It is a challenging message which reminds us that there are some important but not essential truths in the Word of God!

A Journey through Ephesians. #26
Tuesday Oct 10, 2017
Tuesday Oct 10, 2017
Pastor Vic uses the examples of Jesus' relationships with Nicodemus and the Samaritan woman at the well to ask us how we relate to others.
Jesus had time for anyone and everybody. Do you?
If we understand grace, we will have time for our 'Nicodemus'; we will have time for the 'Samaritan woman at the well'.
Jesus has time for everyone and that includes you!

A Journey through Ephesians. #25
Monday Oct 02, 2017
Monday Oct 02, 2017
Our journey through Ephesians takes us into chapter 6, as Pastor Vic continues to exhort us to renew our minds to the things that we can do when we get hold of, and understand, the Grace of God!
When we renew our minds to the Grace of God, and understand that grace, we will live in improved relationships.
Paul is not giving us a list of do's and don'ts; he is giving us a list of recommendations!

A Journey through Ephesians. #24
Tuesday Sep 26, 2017
Tuesday Sep 26, 2017
This week, with this message, Pastor Vic takes us to the end of chapter 5 and speaks about one of the most abused verses in the Word of God!
We are reminded, as we have heard before, that there is a 'fluidity of submission' between men and women; verse 22 of Ephesians 5 is not a verse for husbands to get their wives to obey ungodly commands!
Husbands have a responsibility to love their wives as Christ loved the church; so husbands need to ensure that they are doing their part in all of this!
Remember that the second half of Ephesians is all about what we can do, if we understand grace!
