ABC to Success! #3
Monday Jan 29, 2018
Monday Jan 29, 2018
Pastor Vic reminds us that the way we think determines the quality of our life; our thoughts determine the way we live; good or bad!
Our thoughts influence our emotions and decide how we feel about ourselves. Yes, there are good and bad influences on your life, but only you can decide how those influences affect how you live out your life!

ABC to Success! #2
Tuesday Jan 23, 2018
Tuesday Jan 23, 2018
This week Pastor Vic highlights that everything, that we do and say, has to be conceived; our lives are directed by our thoughts.
We need to be aware of our thoughts; are we thinking lies or truths? Success needs to be conceived through our thought process; we become what we think.
One way of being aware of what we are thinking is to start a thought diary; Pastor Vic gives an encouraging, personal testimony of this.
We need to take our thoughts captive!
Apologies folks: I have become aware of some electronic interference whilst listening to this message. They are not major and do not detract from the overall message. I believe that this sometimes happens during uploading and can be a bit random.

Pastor Vic introduces a new series to show you, from the Word of God, how to succeed in life.
You will hear that God wants you to succeed in every area of your life and has put in place spiritual and natural laws to help you achieve success.
We need to conceive, believe and act to achieve this success!

Advent 2017 #3: On earth peace.
Monday Dec 18, 2017
Monday Dec 18, 2017
In the third message of this Advent time, Pastor Vic highlights another misquoted and mis-understood verse that is part of the narrative of the birth of Jesus.
Pastor Vic exhorts us again to read and study God's Word for ourselves so that we can, 'shun profane and vain babblings'.
NB: Pastor Vic with his wife, and two ladies from the fellowship, will be travelling to India on the 27th December to visit the orphanage that MGF partners with. We are having a meeting this coming Thursday 21st, but there will be no Sunday meeting until Sunday 7th January 2018.

Advent 2017 #2: The Shepherds.
Monday Dec 11, 2017
Monday Dec 11, 2017
In this second message, about the birth of Jesus, Pastor Vic declares that the significance of the shepherds has been dismissed by the tradition of men.
You will hear that these particular shepherds were the shepherds that looked after the lambs of the temple flock at Migdal Eder. Their job was to select the sacrificial lambs and they were the first to visit Jesus after His birth. Why was that?
As you heard last week, we need to study the Word for ourselves and not just accept the traditional presentation about the birth of the One who was born to die for you!
NB: At about 11 minutes in of this recording you will hear Pastor Vic show off his, 'I Love Migdal Eder' t-shirt!

Advent 2017 #1: The Wise Men
Monday Dec 04, 2017
Monday Dec 04, 2017
The birth of Jesus is possibly the most mis-represented account of anything in the Word of God.
Pastor Vic brings us his first message of this year's Advent season and challenges us to read, study, and meditate on, the Word for ourselves, so that we can dismiss the 'tradition of men' and 'rightly divide the Word.'
You will hear that religion has perverted the Word and that man has created traditions that are not inline with the Word.
Do you listen to men or do you listen to God?

Communion with the Holy Spirit.
Sunday Nov 26, 2017
Sunday Nov 26, 2017
Following on from last week's message, Nunsy Cameron encourages and exhorts us to partnership with the Holy Spirit; to be in communion with Him.
We are encouraged to listen to, and share, what the Holy Spirit is saying to us.
An important part of being able to commune with the Holy Spirit is recognising that we are part of the church body and as such we need to be in a good relationship with God and each other.
Yes, it can be difficult; but if we are strong in the Word then we can be in communion with the Holy Spirit!

Exercise the Ministry of the Holy Spirit!
Sunday Nov 19, 2017
Sunday Nov 19, 2017
Dave Feldman, our guest speaker, exhorts and encourages us to operate in the power of the Holy Spirit.
He reminds us that we can do this effectively through practice and the renewing of our minds.
During this message you will hear Dave minister to some of the people who were with us today.
NB: Due to time restraints in this coming week, Techy Dave has decided to post this message as soon as possible. So do not be surprised to hear the open fire crackling and a few other things; editing has been minimal!
The time restraints this coming week are because Techy Dave is working on an MGF project which involves a lot of CD production; we will share a bit more about the project a little later in the month.

Affirm constantly the truth of the Word!
Tuesday Nov 14, 2017
Tuesday Nov 14, 2017
Paul's letter to Titus is a letter to a pastor; it is also a letter to all born again believers.
This letter exhorts Titus to teach sound doctrine with all authority and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone.
We see in this letter that the Gospel, the Good News, is that we are made righteous, through faith, as a gift of grace; it is all about what Jesus has done and nothing of what we have done or will do!
You are not righteous by what you do; you are righteous through what you believe!
NB: Techy Dave is aware of a problem with some electronic noise in this recording.

Stop asking for what has already been provided!
Monday Nov 06, 2017
Monday Nov 06, 2017
Using the example of Simeon, Pastor Vic shows us that salavation is not just about our 'ticket' into heaven!
Salvation, ie: the Sozo package; is more than that. We need to realise that all that Jesus died for, on the cross, is available to us, right here; right now!
We need to change the way we think about salvation and take what has been provided without asking for it!
