The Resurrection! Fiction or Fact?
Monday Apr 17, 2017
Monday Apr 17, 2017
Many people, including some Christians, deny that Jesus was raised from the dead after His crucifixion. This, they say, is because of the apparent discrepancies in the death and resurrection accounts recorded in Scripture.
Pastor Vic takes us through these accounts and you will hear that there are common threads as well as apparent discrepancies.
Pastor Vic also challenges those 'believers' who deny that Jesus was raised from the dead! If that is you, then how will you ever be raised from the dead!
The resurrection is the most important event of human history; without it, our faith is useless!

A Journey through Ephesians. #7
Sunday Apr 09, 2017
Sunday Apr 09, 2017
Pastor Vic returns to our journey through Ephesians and we have come to Eph 1 v 10.
We hear, through this verse, that as born again believers we can be confident in the day of judgement. Yes, there is an end of the church age to come but we have no need to be fearful of that time.
As well as many things being revealed to us, through the Word, there are things that are not for us to know. We are told this in Acts 1 v 7.
But many Christians waste time, effort and finances in trying to second guess God!
Hear how we need to concentrate on what we have been called to do in the dispensation of this church age we live in now!

The Word of God has a purpose.
Sunday Apr 02, 2017
Sunday Apr 02, 2017
In this message, Nunsy exhorts us to guard ourselves against the tradition of men and the philosophies of the world.
As born again believers, living under the New Covenant, we can do this through our knowledge and use of the Word of God; but we need to meditate on this Word day and night so that we can standfast when the lies of the enemy come against us.
It is not easy but we can start with small steps to start the process of renewing our mind and use the Word out of our mouths as a spiritual sword!
Through the Word we can stay focused on who we are in Christ and overcome the world and be victorious!

The Word of God is a weapon!
Sunday Mar 26, 2017
Sunday Mar 26, 2017
In this message, Nunsy Cameron uses the examples of Samson, Ehud, Shamgar and David to declare that the Word of God is our weapon against sickness, depression, poverty and our general well being.
However, it is our responsibility to exercise the use of His Word so that we can be steadfast and know that God is with us; we need to believe His Word and not limit ourselves, or God, in the way we think!
We read in Ephesians 6 v 17 that the Word of God is the sword of the Spirit; we need to use it!

Do you know you are healed?
Sunday Mar 19, 2017
Sunday Mar 19, 2017
During today's time of worship and sharing, Pastor Vic was led to abandon his prepared message and speak as he was led by the Holy Spirit.
Someone shared about a relative who is ill and this led Pastor Vic to speak about healing.
As born again believers we need to remember that we are healed and that the 'enemy' is trying to steal that healing from us. That healing was provided for on the cross through Jesus' finished work!
In this world we are surrounded by unbelief but we need to realise that it is Our Father's will for us to be healed and to be living an abundant life.
Listen to this message and hear that we need to know that we are healed!

Do you believe that God moves in mysterious ways?
In this message, Pastor Vic declares that we can know, through His Word, what God does, and will do, because we know what Jesus did!
Be prepared to have another lie, of the tradition of men, revealed through God's Word.
God does not move in mysterious ways; He moves the way Jesus did!
NB: Due to a recording problem we have had to use the audio from our Facebook broadcast.

A Journey through Ephesians. #5
Sunday Mar 05, 2017
Sunday Mar 05, 2017
This week, in this journey, Pastor Vic shares with us, through Ephesians 1 v 7, that forgiveness is a gift of grace.
Wether you are saved or unsaved, you do not need to ask God for forgiveness; it is a done deal!
Everyone has been born into sin and also forgiveness; not the benefits of forgiveness but forgiveness itself through the finished work of Jesus on the cross.
In its biblical context this is of the Apostles Doctrine, which is what every born again believer should aspire to live by. We give thanks to God for His gift of forgiveness and all its benefits.
Please listen to this message right to the end and then, if you need to, you are welcome to contact MGF.

A Journey through Ephesians. #4
Sunday Feb 26, 2017
Sunday Feb 26, 2017
In this message Pastor Vic uses the examples of the film, 'Lion', and Roman Law, to declare that it was, and is, God's plan for everyone to be accepted and adopted into His family.
God has made provision for all who believe the finished work of Jesus on the cross to be adopted into His family, with all the rights and inheritance of sons including all spiritual blessings.
Our 'sonship' was planned before the creation of the world and it is God's good pleasure to accept and adopt us into His family.
Listen and find out that, as a born again believer, you are accepted in the beloved!

A Journey through Ephesians. #3
Sunday Feb 19, 2017
Sunday Feb 19, 2017
Last week Pastor Vic shared with us about what Eph. 1 v 4 - 5 is not about. This week he starts to share more about what these verses mean for every born again believer.
Pastor Vic shows us that it is up to each person to choose life so that we become holy, righteous and redeemed: accepted in the beloved.
However, we have this choice to make because of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross; it is not our holy actions that save us but, once we are saved, our actions should become holy!

Do you have free will or does God decide everything that happens to you?
This week, Pastor Vic teaches from Ephesians 1 v 4 - 5 to show us that it is not God who plans and wills every event in our life.
These verses, in Ephesians, show us the true, loving heart of God who has planned for all to be righteous and saved. Yes, all mankind is predestined to be saved but not all will choose to be saved!
Mankind has free will and we can choose the wide gate or the narrow gate. We are saved by grace through faith and we have to choose to operate in faith!
