Pastor Vic continues to remind us that, because of the finished work of the Cross, we are forgiven and we have been made righteous.
But what comes from being forgiven and being made righteous? Listen and hear again that sin is no longer an issue for God.
Although we live under God's grace, sin still has earthly consequences but, as the Word tells us, we should have no more conciousness of sin!

This week, Pastor Vic continues with 'righteousness'. As born again believers we need to get out of a performance mentality so that we live free from fear, guilt and condemnation! [Galatians 5 : 1]
Pastor Vic shares from God's Word to show us that we have been set free from the need to 'perform' for God. We need to not frustrate God's grace so that we do not make Christ's death vain.
We need to believe the Word when it tells us that we are righteous, so that we can rest in it and not strive anymore!

Pastor Vic returns to continue with our current series about how the hard hearts of born again believers can be softened. Did you know that, as a born again believer, in your spirit, you are completely righteous. This is not because of anything that you have done, or will do, but it is because of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. As a born again believer you are as righteous as Jesus! But a hard heart will prevent you from experiencing all that God has provided through that finished work. Arrogant? Unbelievable? As you listen to this message you will hear Pastor Vic speak words of truth from the Word of God and your mind will start to be renewed! Your focus needs to be on Jesus and not yourself.

This week Nunsy Cameron brings the next message in this current series. Much of modern day Christian philosophy puts the onus on the born again believer to deal with sin. We hear that every sin we commit has to be confessed if we are to maintain our relationship with God, through Jesus Christ. Much of Christian evangelism is designed to make us feel guilty. Although sin has earthly consequences for us, and it can be deadly, we need to have a revelation of our absolute forgiveness because of Jesus' finished work on the cross. We are no longer under law but under grace and the Law made nothing perfect! [Heb. 7 v 19] God has provided, through Jesus' finished work on the cross, a once for all sacrifice! We need to have a full understanding of our absolute forgiveness, through this sacrifice, in order to help the process of the softening of our heart. NB: You will probably need to visit this message a number of times to start to fully understand its implications.

Pastor Vic continues with this series and once again he challenges you to check the Word of God for yourself. Many born again believers take what the person says from the 'pulpit' as being what the Word says, but we need to check it out for ourselves. It is easy to isolate verses of the Word and use them out of context. The Word can also appear to contradict itself if verses are isolated. One of the most important things we need to realise is wether something in the Word is pre or post cross. To find out more about this listen to this message. But again, this message comes with a 'health warning' because Pastor Vic challenges you about some things in the Word that have become 'vain repetitions' and 'traditions of man'!
